This training program is popular among clients who are mainly concerned with resolving a few behaviors that are concerning to the owner. We specifically target unwanted behavior you may be experiencing with your dog(s) and redirect it to more appropriate behavior. Along with modifying problematic behavior(s), we will teach your dog a few specific commands to help your dog succeed in their training.

  • Inappropriate Chasing/Nipping
  • Nuisance Barking
  • Destructive Behavior(s)
  • Leash Reactivity (Barking at other dogs, people, bicycles)

Duration:    1 ½ hour session

Rate:            $175 up (per session)

3 sessions:  $495 up (dependent upon how many dogs are being trained and distance)

5 sessions:  $795 up (dependent upon how many dogs are being trained and distance)

Problematic Behavior Training II

The goal of this training program is to create a well-mannered dog in the home and in public. The dog will learn to reliably respond to commands such as Come Touch, Look at me, Stay, Sit, Down, Go to your mat, Leave It, drop it and Walk on Leash without pulling. Any problematic behavior that the dog is currently displaying will be redirected into more appropriate behavior. This course will also focus on teaching the dog to respond to commands on and off-leash.

This course is also for owners that want:

  • Their dog to pass a CGC test
  • Their dog to pass the Therapy Dog test

Duration:     1 ½ hour session

Rate:             $175 up (per session)

5 sessions:    $795 up (dependent upon how many dogs are being trained and distance)

Session Location: In your home, Park, Mall (or location of your choice)

It’s natural for puppies to go through stages of learning and adjustment. At Pam4Paws, we understand that every pup is unique and has its own needs. Through our puppy in home behavior training sessions, we work hard to ensure that your pup gets the individualized attention it needs in order to develop into a well-mannered companion.

Our puppy in home sessions behavior are designed for puppies between the ages of 8 weeks and 6 months old. In these sessions, we focus on teaching basic cues such as sit, stay and down as well as addressing more challenging issues like jumping up or leash pulling. We also work with owners on proper socialization skills so that their pup can learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs and people.

When it comes to managing aggressive behaviors in puppies, we takes a three step approach: prevention, interruption, and correction/redirection of unacceptable behavior. Prevention involves creating situations where aggression will not be triggered by teaching commands such as “leave it” when interacting with other animals or people outside the family unit. Interruption is used when aggression does occur by calling the pup away from the trigger. Finally, correction/redirection teaches pups appropriate ways of expressing themselves without resorting to aggression such as offering treats for positive interactions or providing toys for play instead of growling at other animals or people.
